"If scientology worked, then why haven't there been medical studies performed that show that it does? Why haven't there been comparisons to the success rates of traditional psychiatry/psychology after five, ten, twenty years? Where are the external studies of scientology-related programs like narconon or applied scholastics? Why hasn't the church released the numbers of how many unique people receive their services per week, per month, or per year in a very long time? Why is the church so evasive on giving these sorts of answers? Furthermore, why does the church squirrel away its tech like it does? Certainly, if it worked, you'd have at least one university department somewhere offering studies on it."
